Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

my brother in law's girlfriend neglects their two week old baby. Feeds her formula bottles that have been sitting out for more then twenty four hours, doesn't change her daughters clothes, doesn't strap her into her carseat when they are going too be drivin in a car. This lady does nothing, barely holds her daughter, the list goes on. We've started a journal of sorts writting down whats happening each day, whats going on, and what her answers are when she gets confronted. What can he do? He has no money for a lawyer. She has nowhere to go that is child friendly. Any advice would help. If this lady leaves with this child, the 2 week old baby girl is going too end up getting neglected with no affection, from anyone, hurt or killed.

In Ohio, you need to call your local county childrens services agency and turn over a copy of your journal to them. Continue to keep your journal and make copies of it so that you don't lose it.

If the children's services don't do anything then I would alert the media and give them a copy of the journal as well.
