Certified Mail

I am married, have no children, and have filed a complaint for divorce. My spouse has not signed for the certified mail. My attorney did send my spouse a copy of the complaint thruogh regular mail at the same time that the complaint was filed with the court. What is the time frame for a request for default judgement? How long will it take if my spouse never responds to any of the paperwork?

There is no default judgment in divorce proceedings. A pretrial will be scheduled after the time for answer has expired, and trial will probably be 3-4 months after that.
