Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Change of Custody

My son has lived with me for the past 4 years. His father and I were not married. I was ''residential'' parent. I have since changed this without a court order and he now lives with his father. We came to our own agreement on visitation etc., but his father cannot enroll him in school. Is there any way of making it so he can get him enrolled in his district without court interference??? We did previously have a court order, terming me the ''residential'' parent. I want to modify that without court interference. Can that be done?

Re: Change of Custody

If the school district needs a court order, then that's what you have to get. You should call the school district and ask.
