Re: child custody

Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 3109.042, the unwed mother is deemed the sole legal custodian of a minor child until paternity has been established and the allocation of parental rights and responsibilities has been ordered by the court. If neither paternity nor allocation has been done...... call the police.

Re: child custody

First, has paternity been established? If not, then contact your local law enforcement agency.

If paternity has been established but no court order has been issued granting visitation to your boyfriend, then contact your local law enforcement agency.

If there is a court order, you will need to file appropriate documents with the Court which issued the order (in most instances).

In any event, you should contact counsel so that your rights can be protected.
