Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
Child Custody
One of my clients is trying to get custody of his children. The grandparents are also trying. My question is, if the father is found, through DNA, not to be the biological father of the children, but his name is on the birth certificates and the parents are married, does he have any legal rights?

Re: Child Custody
He no longer has the biological rights of a natural father, but he may argue for companionship rights with the child, if he can prove it is in the best interests of the child to continue to have a relationship with him.
