Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

child custody

My ex-wife has refused me my court ordered custody of my children. I have filed contempt charges, which won't heard till Aug. 20th. If mom is not with the children and I am aware of this and the location of the children, am I able to ask law enforcement for any assistance since they have no rights to the children whatsoever? IE:her parents in a foreign county or a babysitter not at her residence?

Re: child custody

You can ask for police help, but unless the permanent custody order is VERY CLEAR, the chances of getting help are slim.
