child custody- ohio

custody trial has been over for 3 months today and still no decision.Is there any time limit in ohio, and am I able to use any wrongdoing that occurs between end of trial and decision? (if so, for appeal or new custody case?)

Your appeal of a custody order must allege errors of law or fact by the trial court. An appeal will not lie until you have a final appealable order. Any wrongdoing subsequent to trial can either be addressed to the trial court in a supplemental motion, or additional sworn affidavit. There is no required time frame for the magistrate to render a ruling.
