Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Child Custody

My son has been staying with his grandparents in Michigan and attending school there. Our divorce was about 5 or 6 years ago and joint custody was awarded between me an my ex wife. Since then we both live in Ohio - her in Toledo and myself in Columbus. I would like full custody of my son since not only is she violating my first right to refusal clause on the divorce papers by him not residing with her, but cannot provide a stable home for my son as she moves from place to place every couple of months.

How do I file for full custody of my son? Would this be an Ohio matter since we are both living in Ohio now and my son should be living here also?

Re: Child Custody

Did you get divorced in Ohio? It doesn't really matter at this point since you are both living here. File a motion in your local probate court for modification of the shared parenting plan. I suggest you consult with an attorney.
