Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
child custody
I have a three year old daughter and another one on the way. They are both by the same man. The thing is that we have never been married, all he has done is signed the birth certificate of my daughter. He is also going to sign the birth certificate of my newborn. But the meaning of this is that he keeps threating that he is going to take my kids and all that. I wanted to know since we were never married what rights does he have on my children? What is the maximum visitation he will have with my kids if he fights for it? About how much child support would I get from he if it came to that?

Re: child custody
If paternity is proven, he has the rights of any parent as long as he is shown to be responsible. A parent cannot threaten to taken his or her children from the other parent.
