Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
child custody
My 20 year old unmarried daughter has a 4 month old infant that she has filed for custody for in butler county. The unemployed father has retained an attorney and thinks he is going to get custody. They have had three hearings to date, all of which have been continued. She has tried to get an attorney, but has been told she doesn't need one. The father has paid nothing towards the care of his child, and will not let my daughter have the childs things. Should we try to get an attorney, and if so, any recommendations on one in the area that would take payments?

Re: child custody
Unfortunately I practice across the state and not in that area. Plus, I do not know any attorneys in that area. But, I can help you out. I can provide you with the law you need and will assist you in how to present your case. You don't necessarily need an attorney for one of these things if you know the law and know what you are doing. Plus, it would be cheaper for me to help you than it would be to get an actual attorney. I would provide you with the materials you need to effectively conduct the hearing. However, I do not guarantee any results. Unfortunately, not attorney can. Plus, I would need a complete list of facts. Feel free to contact me if you want further information.
