Child Support Arrearages
My ex is in arrearages as of the end of 2007. This would normally be his year to take the tax exemption for our daughter. Since he is in arrears on his support am I entitled to take the deduction and deny him from taking it?

Yes, if your divorce decree mentions it. If not, and you provide more than 50% of the annual support for the child, you are entitled to the exemption.
