Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
Child Support and Business Owner
I own my own business and I pay myself out of the business. I have w2's to prove that I pay myself a salary. Can the courts take into consideration what my business made to determine child support or only from what my w2's state I made.

Re: Child Support and Business Owner
They'll be looking at the different kinds of income you are recieving from the business. Say you are holding stock in the business and pay dividends. They will be looking at the amount of dividends over the last several years to assess a income value for support they could do the same for bonuses, stock options, pension contributions, etc.
