child support in iraq

my husband is in iraq so his child support is being lowered but his ex wife keeps fighting it (troy ohio) i have POA so i can go there for him and have once already but my ? is can they do this since he is over there i thought you could not take someone to court that was fighting in war.

There is a federal law which protects solders and other servicemen who are serving in our armed forces from being subject to suit. You should contact the court and advise of this fact.
