Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Child Support Issues

my fiance has a child with a girl that is now 6 years old. He has paid child support on and off during that time, reason being for the last 3 years he has been trying to get Social Security, because he passes out for no reason. His Dr. actually wants him to have a pace maker put in and some other testing done at the end of April. He only owes about 1,300.00 back support. He has not seen his son in 4 years because she plays games, like if he doesn't answer the phone call she threatens us. I f he was late or could not come to get him she would say he was never seeing him again. So we just stopped all communication. the problem is he has been to court 3xs in the last 2 years. for non payment or show cause. They know why. the mother continually harasses us she sends us letters saying he is going to jail, then she says its not about the money she doesn't want or need the money. Its just because she wants him to see his son, but she plays so many agmes he is afraid that he will become so attached and she will just take him away for good. ( The true problem is that she just wants my fiance back and she can't stand me) What should we do we are in desperate need of some advice...

Re: Child Support Issues

Child support and visitation issues are mutually exclusive. If you want to deal with visitation withholding, then file a motion to show cause to have her held in contempt for visitation irregularities. Perhaps a Motion against her will shut her up.
