child support

yes i was just wondering if any one could help me i was just married mynew spouse has a child from a previous relationship they were not married she picked up and moved to ohio and know that we are married she now wants to takemy husband to court for child support she does not work she wants me to pay is this possible she took him to court back in 1999 and was denied in the state of pa because he works for a human resource center and makes 5.75 an hour now can she take from my pay i make much more then he also he has not been able to see his son for a year she no longer has a phone nor does she return letters please give me some advice

Child support is based upon the parent's income. Your income as a non-parent would not be included in these calculations. It would be relevant only in the extent to which it may reduce your husband's living expenses by contributing to the household.
