In cases of divorced parents, when the father gets weekend privilages. Does he have to pick his daughter up in person or can he choose to send someone in his place if a conflict in scheduling (working out of town for example) does not permit his being on time? If someone else goes can the mother not allow daughter to go then forbid weekend beacause father was not personally there at specified time?

Re: Child visitation

If the judgment entry, separation agreement or shared parenting agreement do not provide otherwise, most courts will permit a responsible adult who is known to the child(ren) to pick up the child(ren) when the parent can't. The other parent has no right to forbid companionship simply because someone else is picking the child(ren) up.
