Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

child visitation

My friend recently left her husband

for another man. She and her

husband have legal guardianship

of a 10 year old daughter. She left

her in a safe environment

temporarily. She is looking for a

job and she is currently living with

my husband and myself. She

doesn't know if she should file for

visitation or wait until she gets

established with a job and her own

apartment.

She is going to have to file a divorce in order to address the issue of visitation. Unless she thinks she may return to her husband, might as well start the divorce ASAP to get it over with. Please feel free to contact me if you have further questions. Ed DiCato
