Children Services trying to get me to open a case
I am a mom of two. My oldest, Jordan will be three in July. He was diagnosed with ADHD at 1 1/2 y.o. I've had to go to some extreme measures to keep my son from misbehaving. I had to put miniture padlocks on his pants (front and back) so he wouldn't take off his diaper or pull-up and smear his fecus all over the place. That eventually stopped working so I gave that up. I also had to put a hook lock on the outside of his door so he would take a nap and go to bed. I would never leave him in their longer than 3 hours and that was because it was after 11pm. We always brought him in our room or unlocked his door so he could come out and come in our room. My dad's ex-wife called children services on me and now they want to open a case. I do not have the lock on anymore because they said they'd take me to court but they are saying they will take me to court if I don't agree to open a case and I don't want to. If I fight them do I have a chance? Should I just agree to open a case or should I fight them?

You are definately in a lose-lose situation. If CSB opens a case they will have control over your situation for quite some time. If you do not cooperate, charges of child endangerment may be filed and your child may be taken away and a case will be opened anyways. CSB has wide and vast power and the support of the government. It is very difficult to fight them, but not impossible.
Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
