when can she choose?
I have a 14 year old step daughter. She wants to give up shared parenting and take permanant residence with her Dad. Does she have this choice?

Re: when can she choose?
At 14 years old the Court will take it a very instructive what the child wants to do. The court will look to see if the father's environment is harmful to the child.
Good luck with a 14 year old who does not want to be there.

Re: when can she choose?
A minor's choice as to parent is NOT conclusive, although her wishes are a factor for the court in determining custody.
