Contempt of Court / Seeking full custody

What are the consequences of being in Contempt of court? Does that give the non-offending parent a good chance at winning full custody if they are pursuing full custody (if all ready sharing custody)?

If the person charged with contempt is found to be in contempt, that person may be fined or imprisoned and be made to pay all court costs including attorney fees.
