Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

court order within divorce decree

in my divorce decree there is a court order to pay off debt accrued during the marriage.in the decree there is no amount shown to be paid off and i have never received a straight answer from my ex wife about the amount(it has changed 3 times).about a year ago she took me to court saying i hadnt been paying off the debt.i hadnt because i had been laid off from my job.once i was settled back into work it was fine.earlier this year she agreed to let me pay less than the court order stated in order to save up to go back to school.now she has told me she would take me back to court if i dont start paying the court oredered amount.here are my questions.if she does take me back to court what are my options?do i have a legal right to know the amount of the debt?do i have the legal right to have the debt verified?

Re: court order within divorce decree

Your divorce decree must indicate the level of marital debt that you are responsible for. What you should do is get a certified copy of the decree from the clerk's office, and review it in detail.
