Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

My cousin was taken away by child protective services

My cousin was taken away by child protective services from my aunt and while he was in foster care he was molested by another foster child, had his head slammed in the door, and they forced him to shower and they poured soap in his eyes and called him names. My parents took him until her trial on dec 6 and he stated to his mother that this went on. Is there any legal action we can do. I think the case they have against her was really bogus. they said she beat him, neglected him, and created an unsafe environment for him. Please let me know what we can do as the family.

Re: My cousin was taken away by child protective services

It will be a difficult case to make, as you have to prove that the child authorities knew or should have known that the foster parents would not be giving adequate and appropriate care to their foster children, and then failed to properly address the situation.
