Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
cpo
My marriage to my ex (bipolar, won't take meds) was chock full of DV and my oldest son now 9 witnessed it all up until the age of 7. Since my divorce 2 yrs ago he has continually harrassed and threatened me. He has been sporadic at best with his visitation, and the kids (3 total, ages 9, 5 & 4) are terrified of going with him. There have been a few instances of him hitting the children in anger. Children services wouldn't do anything. My daughter now 4 has started wetting herself after being completely potty trained for a year and a half and my oldest tells everyone his dad is worthless and he hates him and he told me he'd run away if I made him go see him--name removed-- They have all been emotionally and verbally abused also.I have started the children in group therapy and I have a CPO hearing coming up soon. What can I do to protect my kids and stop the harrassment?! I live in a small town and I'm not sure my lawyer knows what he's doing. He's already agreed to a continuance with my ex's lawyer without asking me.He only thinks of the kids as pawns to try to control me, even though he and I are both engaged to other people.

If you think your lawyer is not representing you well, find another one that will.
