Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
I have a crazy obsesssed grandmother who takes me back & forth to court whenever she feels the need for my 8 yr old son. This woman has a visitation order which i still follow every other weekend, father her son, just got incarcerated, before that they split visits. Now shes turning this into taking custody of my son because i moved an hour& half away to be closer to my family. We had a guardian ad litum who only spent about 20 mins at my house but at the last hearing recomended it was in my sons best interest to live with grandma & visit me!! We have another 3 hr evidentary hearing in june, their basis is due to my instability with moving only nothing else, no drugs, no criminal charges, no abuse, nothing, except me having to move a few times over the years. Please help, my son is my life!
1 Answer from Attorneys
In Ohio, you will want to hire an attorney to help you best present your case to the court. Seeking advice here isn't going to get the job done. Look for an attorney in your area who practices regularly before the divorce and/or juvenile court. If you can't afford an attorney you should call the local legal aid society or if there is a lawschool near you, they may have a student legal clinic that can help you.
