CSEA vs. the Court vs. me vs. CSEA and etc.....
My divorce became fine in July, 2000. In November, 2000. The CSEA ordered my employer to withhold additional 195.00 per month. THEIR records indicated that I was behind. I fact the CSEA didn't read the final decree where it stated that I need to pay the arrearages out of my 401K. (I have the letter stating that they paid my ex). Well, everytime I called the CSEA they told me that there was nothing I can do about it. Well, after months of fighting with them, I finally found an intelligent person who was able to help. She sent my ex an affidavit stating that there was no arrearage. My ex signed it and I signed in. So after fifteen months, I finally got the extra monies stopped being taken. Now, when I called the compliance office at the CSEA asking how to get the $3,000+ dollars ''back'' from her, they said I have to hire an attorney again. My issue is that neither my ex nor myself caused this to happen and now CSEA what's me to pay another attorney plus all of the court fees and costs again? Is there another way to get my money back without spending more??????

Unfortunatly your plight with the CSEA is all too common. Short of going back to divorce court, your only remedy is to request repayment from your Ex in writing. If she refuses, you will need to file a motion with the court requesting repayment for the overage.
