Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

custody case

Can a custody case be moved to a different county because of conflicts of interest? The attorney that is reperesenting the person I'm in a custody battle with, and whom I filed a motion to have removed as counsel because of conflicts of interest has removed herself as counsel because she is going to be a magistrate in the very same juvenile court where the custody battle is taking place.....There is a bit more to this , but I'll start with this.

Thanks

Re: custody case

Normally in situations like this, she as magistrate would not be appointed and, if she were, she would have to recuse herself.
