Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Custosy, New state, Father Incarcerated

My daughter is 8 months old, her father is incarcerated in California, we were never married and there are no formal custody arrangements...About two months ago I moved here to Ohio. I want to file for custody of my daughter here but am unsure if I need to wait any period of time in order to establish residency.
