Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
My daughter's dad has custody but has been deployed to Afghanistan. She has been living with me for the past year and was supposed to stay here until he gets back in January 2010. He is now demanding that she go live with his wife. Is he able to do that?

It is highly unlikely. You are the mother and you have rights to the custody of your daughter. His wife does not have any rights at all. Why does he want your daughter to live with his wife?
If you have problems after he returns I would be happy to help you. You do have the right to see your daughter and have joint custody of her.
