Deceased Father and Child Support Money

My father is deceased, I recieved back child support for $940.06 in his name, over onehundred different checks. I am 18 the child support is for me (arrearage). Can I cash these checks since my father has passed I am the only child pertaining to this child support order? Or, is there some way without going to court that i can obtian P.O.A or adminstrator over his finances and estate? He died in West Virginia and i live in Ohio so as you can see this poses a problem. Your help is greatly appreciated, thank you for your time.

From whom are the checks issued? Your father, CSEA, his estate?
