dissolution help

I asked my husband to move out of our rental home in Nov '07 and stated the marriage was over. He moved out in Jan08. We agreed on dissolution and filled paperwork out. It was discovered he had cancer and wouldn't sign paperwork. he is clear of cancer 5 months later. I'm paying his insurance with no help from him. he is on my policy thru work. i'm also paying on two loans. i want out of the marriage and can't afford a lawyer. what are my options?

If he won't sign the separation agreement and other documents, you have no alternative but to file a divorce complaint against him. You might have a low enough income for Legal Aid help, but if he fails to sign the paperwork, or appear for the hearing, then dissolution won't work.

If your husband won't agree to dissolve your marriage, he will have no choice if you file for divorce. Your situation is not unusual.
