Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Dissolution child visitation

I had a dissolution of my marriage. What happens if found in contempt of the agreement on something that i can't afford to pay. I could not afford an attorney at the time. Also, could it be changed to a divorce.

Can she also interfere with my visitation rights and if so what are my rights?

Re: Dissolution child visitation

First of all, if you are found in contempt the court will try to look to the realities of the situation. If you at least make an effort to live up to your agreement, the Court will treat you lightly. Second, once the dissolution is final, it can not be changed into a divorce. Third, the Court always retains jurisdiction in issues concerning the kids adn child support. Therefore, the Court will assist you in obtaining visitation.

Good luck!!!
