Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

I am going through a dissolution and I am going to have to pay child support. My soon to be ex-wife does not work and lives in a household with her parents, our two children and her brother his wife and their three kids. Can it be required that she have a job and/or her own place of residence? I feel that my child support payment would not be just for my children.

In Ohio, a divorce court is unlikely to tell your wife where she can and/or can't live unless the place that she is living is bad for the kids. However, if you can show the court that your wife is getting all of her expenses paid by her family, that may justify a lower child support figure from you than if she were living with the kids by herself at her own place.
