Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
Dissolution
I am currently seeking a dissolution to my marriage of 5 years. I have two small children and live in the state of Ohio. One of my friends was required to have a legal seperation prior to completing her dissolution and i was wondering if this is always required.

No, legal separations are sometimes adjudicated in order that the couple can hold onto their benefits, for example, health care until a dissolution or divorce is entered into.
