Distribution of property

after 24 years of common law marriage, I would like to divorce but would like to know what to expect in the division of property. We have a home in Ohio and property in another state. Would I be intitled to 1/2 of the assets? And as I do not work and our children are of legal age, would I be intitled to spousal suport?

Property division under a common law marriage would be the same as in a regular marriage. Therefore, you would be entitled to spousal support equal to approximately one year for every three years of marriage.
