Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Divorce Contempt

My ex has filed a contempt charge over a bill that I was responisbile in the divorce, it was behind 3 months while disabled but for last 12 months has been paid on time and it is completely caught up and ahead. What case does she have? Can we counter sue for attorney fees and travel?

Re: Divorce Contempt

I would definitely contact an attorney and retain someone to file an answer to the motion and include a request for attorney fees and travel. If the bill is up to date, then obviously it would be within the judge's discretion to order attorney fees.
