Divorce contested

We have been married 38 yrs. and my husbsand says i will get nothing and that I owe him. Is this true?

Well, that doesn't sound like a good deal at all. I see that you asked about Ohio law and I am not licensed to practice there - but I suspect your husband is also not licensed to practice law there either. Most states divide up property and debts pretty evenly regardless of the length of marriage, so I suggest not listening to your husband on this.
