Divorce or Dissolution of Marriage
My friend has bee separated for almost twoyears now and wants to be completelt separated from their ex. He however will not sign anything. Is it necessary for him to sign if the other party wants to sever all ties? I live in Ohio.

There can be no dissolution without his complete agreement and signature. However, a divorce can still be accomplished without his cooperation. Your friend should file a divorce. I do a lot of divorce work. It appears that this one may be forced to a quick ending and thereby reduce expenses. If your are interested, feel free to contact me. Best regards, Edward DiCato
