My friend (James) filed for divorce in February '08. His lawyer sent papers to his wife (in Tennessee) saying he wanted custody of kids. He did not instruct him to do this. James & Lori (his wife) already had figured out what they wanted in divorce (uncontested). James' lawyer was supposed to file papers stating these things (not custody of kids for James). Now James' lawyer says it will take a couple of weeks for child support to be calculated. It has been longer than that. What's the holdup?
