Divorce and Sole Custody

Daughter is needing to file for divorce. Divorce is agreed upon between the both of them. Will not be married a year until September 23, 2007. She wants sole custody of minor child who is 4 years old.

They can divorce. They need to be a resident of Ohio for at least six months. With respect to custody, your daughter may be appointed the residential parent, but your son-in-law may be awarded some shared parenting time depending upon how responsible the court finds the father to be.
