Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

I got a divorce 30 years ago in santa dimingo - now I would like to collect his social security but the social security administration does not recognise - is the a way to get that divorce regestered in this country - then I could colllect - don't know the process and don't have the funds to hire an attorney - i would appreciate any information you could give me - Thanks

I think it's sad that you have been divorced over 30 years and now think you are entitled to something. This is what gives the legal system a bad name.
