divorcing a brit

i am married to a british woman who is living in the uk

we have agreed verbally that this marriage is to end and uncontested

what am i looking at as far as getting this done

i know that i have to meet a residency issue as i have only been back in the states for a few months

the marriage only lasted for a little over 1 1/2 yrs

There is a 6-month residency of one spouse requirement in Ohio. It seems as though under your uncontested circumstances, your spouse can remain in the UK while the divorce is carred out here.
