Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Dual Ownership

If a couple buys a house together (they are not married) and both names are on the deed and they break up (have been broken up for four years and living apart from each other) does the person that left have any legal right to come back into the home? The other person has been living in the house and paying all of the bills during this four year time. He wants to continue living there but now she is asking for $20,000 to sign an Assumption Loan. There is negative equity in the house.

Re: Dual Ownership

As far as I am concerned the ansywer is yes based on what you told me. I would need more facts and I don't know why she is asking for an "Assumption Loan."
