Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

How do I allow my emancipated child to collect the arrears owed on their child support case? The ongoing support order has ended but I want to allow my son to be the one who is allowed to collect the arrears.

In Ohio, if a party is behind on his spousal support, then he pays the current amount plus a bit extra until the arrearage is taken care of. Once the child turns 18 or is otherwise emancipated, the child support obligation goes on at the same rate per month, just with all of the payment now being credited to the arrearage. The money still goes to you though, not the kid. What you do with it is up to you though.
