Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

How can I get emancipated in Ohio? I am NOT going to join the military, and how can I get married if I'm not 18? So other options? I'm sick of my parents controlling my money that I WORK for and telling me I cant spend it when its MY money. I get verbally and physically abused and thats enough of that too. Thanks.

Hello,

In general, you need to file a Motion for emancipation with the local county juvenile court and if you can show that it is in your best interest and show that you will not be a financial burden on society ( ie. support yourself) you have a good chance of the court granting your request.
