Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Failure to adhere to property settlement

My divorce concluded in December 2004. Owned 2 properties with 2 mortgages. Each spouse was awarded a property. Mortgage liability was to be removed from one another's mortgage. I assumed my loan. Other spouse not qualified to assume, so must sell. Other spouse is realtor and has listed property for a price too high to sell. I am still liable for other spouse's mortgage. I am also paying support. What are my legal options. I have adhered to divorce agreement, other spouse is not doing so.

Re: Failure to adhere to property settlement

You can file a motion to show cause against the other spouse for failing to hold you harmless, and additionally ask the court to order her to reimburse you for what you paid or pay you your share of the proceeds.
