Am I legally allowed to contact the child I placed for adoption in Ohio after his 18th birthdate?

This depends on the terms on your adoption. Was it a semi-open adoption or closed adoption? The former allows contact by either the child or birth mother after the age of 18. You may want to discuss this with an attorney who works in adoptions or health and human services in your area.
