father name on birth certificate
My name was listed as a father an a birth certificate. I was not aware that i was listed as the father. The mother says i am not the father and wants my name removed so her parents can adopt the child what liabilty do i have as listed as the father

As the father listed on the birth certificate, you have parental rights and responsibilities. The easiest way is to clear your paterinity is through DNA paternity testing. If you prove not to be the father, you can have your name removed from the birth certificate. Then the child's mother and her parents can take their appropriate steps.
