Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

the father of my 5 month year old is trying to see her and he's never attempted to now he has a criminal backround with burglary and assault, and he lives in a really bad neighborhood and i honestly fear for my daughters saftey he used to sell drugs as well i copied a couple letters with him saying i don't want to see her i willl sign all right away to you i don't want to do anything that deals with her i want her to die and stuff will he at least get supervised visits if anything?
