Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
Fearing the worst
My basic question is will can cause a mother to lose her kids forever? I was accused of a cyber affair but other then a harmless email and a photo of sent to a pen pal site there is no proof. It wasnt even my husband that found this but his sister who was trying to spy on my. His family has a dislike for me, from an internet-affair I had 3 years ago, an was forgiven for. She also found some erotica stories I wrote for a Star Trek website. I have never had a real affair with anyone nor would I ever.
Currently no one has filed for divorce, and I was forced with possible physical assault to leave my kids with him. He is mentally abusive & emotionally unstable, suffering from PTSS. At the time he kicked me out I had nothing. Now I have a home, car & myself respect back. I want only what is best for my daughters 7 & 14. My husband refuses to even allow them to get outside help, stating our problems are a private matter. I want to do all I can in the best interest of my kids. Please someone tell me what my chances are of regaining control of my children. So that they can get the help they need in dealing with these issues.

Re: Fearing the worst
You must file for divorce, and for emergency temporary custody to have any hope at all with the children. Calls to Human Services might get an investigation started, but the outcome there is anything but certain.
