Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
Can I file for visitation rights without an att. My ex has refused to let me see my son. Ihaven't seen him in over a month
1 Answer from Attorneys
Yes, you can file for visitation without an attorney but it is never advisable. If the issues are easily resolvable, then perhaps doing this without an attorney could work. But if there are contested issues and negative allegations against each other, then there are tools available to find out important information (subpoenas, interrogatories, requests for production of documents, requests for admission, depositions, and more).
The most important thing to remember is that if this is very important to you, then it is equally important to hire a professional who knows the ropes and can protect and fight for your rights.
